The TX 2 range of rods from Shimano all benefit from the same manufacturing processes, using XT60 carbon. This carbon method results in a very slim and powerful blanks which only enhances the casting performance of the carp rod.
Despite the carbon blanks being very powerful, the TX 2 does not compromise on playing action in the tip- and middle section, required for maintaining a secure hook-hold.
